WATCH OUT MIA HAMM...

The boys and I went to a soccer game on Saturday at the Blue Sky Sports Center in The Colony. A friend of mine, Cam, has a 7 year old daughter, Taylor, that plays. We got to see her play once last year and we hope to catch a few more games this year. She is a very good player. In fact her team is one of the best in their age group. They are all 7 years old and they are playing girls that are 8, so the teams they are playing against have at least one year more of experience. Taylor plays forward and this game she scored at least 2 of the 5 points. I did not stay and chat after since we were heading to Emory and Taylor had to go to another soccer game in Mesquite...she plays a lot. However, Taylor did call me while we were driving and thanked us for coming to the game. I told her that I enjoy seeing her play...when the kids enjoy what they do it makes it even more fun to watch.
