We headed over to the
Meierhoffer's Friday night for chili and pumpkin painting. This is an annual event for the AC alumni that live in Lake Highlands. The kids have a blast decorating their pumpkins with stickers, paint, and glitter...Joshua can write his name really well now, so he even had his name on his. Andrew and Elizabeth ended up getting paint all over them...I kept thinking Andrew had a booger on his nose, but it was just paint. Joshua and Andrew were the only boys, but Joshua enjoyed playing house with the girls and Andrew could care less who else was there...is that a two year old for you or what.
The chili was very good. I will post the recipe on our recipe blog for those that are interested,

Sorry for the quality of the pictures on the collage...I need a new camera. All weekend my camera seemed to slow to even catch the still objects without blurring. Could be user error, but my camera is 8 years old.

Looks like fun.
Even Christopher would still enjoy that, but he prefers carving. Last year he got to help carve with a knife for the first time.
