GROWING TOO FAST

The past two days Joshua has gone to a friends house to play, without me! Yes, I know. He is only 4. What is this all about? I mean, I did not know if I should wait for him outside the house (a block away), or go home and actually get things done. I thought this would start when he was in late elementary, not early pre-k. He had a blast and was very sad when I showed up to pick him up both days. I get him out of there by saying that he might be able to come back tomorrow, or maybe his friend, Trevor, can come to our house to play. He immediately responds, "NO! I like his toys." So, what do I have to look forward to now?
