SNOW DAY CONT...

I tried to sneak in to take pictures of the boys...that is very hard to do. Joshua wanted to take pictures. I cannot believe I am sharing them since I was still in my pajamas, but I thought they were pretty good.

SNOW DAY AND ALL IS QUIET...?

I know this post is way late...been Facebooking instead of Blogging. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago we had a "snow" day, or in Texas an "ice" day. Before kids I would have slept in and stayed in my pajamas all day. Now that I have kids, I was up and still stayed in my pajamas...this day I was probably on the computer while they played. As the hours rolled by I noticed there was silence in the house. I had to see what the boys were up to since they were not playing where I could see them. I found them in Andrew's room playing very well together. This was the start of many days, months, years of playing well together...that is my hope of course. I pray that this play time will help them develop a strong, loving relationship.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEFFREY!

We celebrated Jeff's birthday today. Yes, Jeff's birthday was yesterday, but he did not get back from Austin until we had to leave for a Valentine party. The boys and I made him green chile chicken enchiladas, spanish rice, salad, and chocolate cake for lunch. He got to sleep in until noon and wake up to a great meal. Happy Birthday Jeffrey!
FYI, the other cake in the pictures is from Jeff's parents house. We celebrated Jeff's and Traci's birthday Sunday night when their sister Kristen and her family were in town.
How can you go wrong celebrating twice!

LADIES TRIP

I am going on a ladies trip! This was decided when Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 came out and me and two of my best friends, Danni and Margaret, from college and I went to see it. After the movie we decided that we were going to go on a trip to Greece for our 40th birthdays...we need to save up the money! Well, there have been some changes since we saw the movie...First, our group has grown from the three of us to include our good friend Rachel. The other thing that has changed is where we are going. We decided to list our top 5 destinations for a ladies trip and then vote from the list. It is very hard to only put 5. Finally, we have moved the trip up from our 40th to our 35th...that is only 2 years away. So, if you have traveled and have a destination 4 ladies could travel and would have a blast leave a comment.
